Football
Fantastic is a different concept in fantasy football competitions. You pick teams instead of players from a
select number of groups. Teams earn
points dependent on their performance against other teams in their league, the Champions League and the UEFA Cup. The manager whose teams earn the most points
will win the competition.
The first step to joing Football Fantastic is to register. You only need to enter your name, location, a valid e-mail address and password and then you can start to create your team. To register click here.
You must pick 1 team from each of the 8 groups and you can select any number of teams from the same country. The teams chosen for this seasons competition are from the English Premiership, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and the German Bundesliga. All the clubs from these 4 leagues have been divided into 8 groups depending on their finishing position in last years league and Champions League. A list of the teams and their grouping is available here.
You will have access to make 4 transfers each month. These transfers can be made up until 12pm (noon) on each match day. You do not have to use all 4 transfers in a month but any unused transfers will not be carried forward to the following month.
Points
are scored as follows;
- Win = double the points of the team played
- Draw = the points of the team played
- Lose = No points
- Every goal scored earns 1 point
- Every goal conceded is minus 1 point
- Every clean sheet kept earns 1 point
e.g.
Barcelona 3 – Arsenal 1. Barcelona would
earn 18 points and Arsenal would have -2 points

During Champions League games, all other teams in the competition that are not part of Football Fantastic, will have a value of 6 points. I.e. PSV Eindhoven and Galatasray
are both worth 6 points if they play one of your teams in the Champions League.
UEFA Cup scoring starts at the group stages and each non Football Fantastic team will have a value of 4 points.
